You Butter was born out of necessity. I couldn’t find butter that tasted like my grandmother’s authentic Ethiopian kibe, so I taught myself how to make it in my college dorm kitchen, learning from YouTube videos and countless hours of experimenting. After many trials, errors, and a lot of patience, I finally perfected my recipe. Now, I’m sharing that same rich, aromatic flavor with people like me—those who struggle to find authentic Ethiopian butter or have to wait until they can get it from home.
